King Edward VIII 1d Red

Introduction

These 48 sheets show the highlights of the research work, undertaken by Robin Restall over many years, on the flaws on the Edward VIII 1d Red. Robin never finished his analysis before his death in 2023 and I have been asked by his daughter to publish the highlights of his work so that his efforts benefit future Edward VIII enthusiasts.

I did give some consideration to updating the sheets before publishing them: some have corrections, and a few have comments. I decided to leave them in as it shows the reader the level of detail and dedication Robin placed on his work.

The 48 sheets are in Cylinder number order, from 2 to 14, with Cylinder 6 being the most prolific. Each Cylinder looks at both the Stop and No Stop sheets. Most items are either corner blocks of six or bottom left corner quarter sheets. I hope you find the display of interest.
